Alarm never went off, now my boss is really sour

Now I have to go explain why I am late
Dock me for an hour, work starts at 8

No breakfast in my stomach, all it does is growl

I am hungry as a dog, gotta stick the day out to get myself some pay,
Go the store after 8 hours, the wife just called no bread, the milk is sour
Got my check in hand less than it should be

Can't pay my rent or my Nimo bill
Running out of gas in my beat up Blazer
Want to shave my face, bu I have no razor
Looking in the paper for new employment when you have no money, you don't have enjoyment
At least I have my family, my wife and my kids
Can't forget about my brothers and purebred pits

There has got to be a better place than this
Taxes are killing me, I've got to feed the kids
My clothes are dirty, I have no detergent

Have enough money for a pack of smokes
